What you are looking at may not look to pretty....but it is the first rain of the year (mark it- April 15). Up until this point we've had snow and mix, but that all changed today. I am going to boldly write that "spring is upon us at last", although snow is in the forecast for the next three days. The rain hasn't helped the fact that the town is a mud hole, of course. It was a steady rain all day. The gutters are full and the river through town is rushing. The forecasted snow won't last; by next week it is supposed to be +50 and above freezing at night. The next couple of days may be winters last gasp....or we could still be getting snow in a month. Who knows. But HOPE tells me I have to believe its over!
