
70 degrees and sunny- spring is here. I've pushed off my first hike for a couple of days to give the snow more time to melt. Today I headed up into the mountains for the years first climb. It has been over 6 months since the mountains were accessible and my legs feel like it. :)
So this is cool (below). The forest floor is covered in spider webs. I don't remember seeing this last year, but it is all over the place now. Catching all the creeping critters as they come alive in the warmth.




As you can see, there are still a few patches of snow here and there, where the shadows lay, but it was clean sailing and dry all the way up.

The arrow points to my house. The mountain that rises above in the background is Peak Zherinsaikal- the tallest peak in the area.
