I've had issues with the blog for the last couple of weeks. Picasa Web Albums has been down for me and I can't seem to view any of the pictures I have in there. But blogger seems to be working today, so I'll make a quick post.
These pics are from a short hike I took a week or so ago. It is pretty out in the snow, but the snow is up to mid-thigh at the maximum areas- its tough walking.
I took these the other day. The frost on my windows makes a floral design that is pretty.
It's that time again!!! Tomorrow, Feb 23 is World Man Day! This was the old Soviet Army Day, but now that Kazakhstan is not in the Soviet Union, its "man day". It isn't a serious holiday, no time off work or anything. But its fun to have a day where its encouraged to act manly and macho. So that is my charge to you...have a macho Feb 23rd!
