Summer's wildflowers

1.jpg

Yesterday we went up to Lake Shaitankol to pick up trash.  There was quite a bit- its a shame because this area is really pretty.

Outside the graffiti, this area has some unique looking spots.

Sergie and Peter with the trash. I recently bought a nice pair of cammo too, so I can look the part at work!

After we got back from Shaitankol, a few of us walked up to the "heart rock". The lighting wasn't the best, but you can see the heart on the bottom. Earlier in the day, the hole is shaded and the heart really stands out. Its a neat place.

Today we went out to Shaktior. It is a rest area with a lot of hotels and such. At one of the park's campgrounds, we made fire pits and cleaned out a spring. The flowers were wonderful.

And by popular demand, here are our huge yellow mosquitoes!  They are much bigger than our common black ones!

Tomorrow we clean around Lake Baceen, so I'm sure I'll have more pics in the next day or two.  The weather has been great- perfect blue skies, mid 70's with a light breeze. Can't ask for better weather!
