I don't have much to report these days but I came across a couple of pictures that I forgot to post and thought this was a good time. The first is of a large meat and onion pie that Ludmilla (my host mom) made. It was quite tasty. Alishair decided he would pose with his piece.
So its been pretty cold this week. School for the young kids has been cancelled that past couple of days. They usually do this when its below -20C (-4F). The past two mornings it has been around -25F. It's a dry cold though, so it isn't as brutal as you would think, but its still awful cold if you spend any time outside. As I write this (2pm), its -12F.
When drastic weather comes drastic measure of staying warm...as pictured below. Gambrill got a nice hat and mask for Christmas from her father. The two of them together with her large fur coat made me laugh though. But she is staying warm! :) She sort of looks like Cobra Commander from GI Joe (and he was pretty cool!). haha.
