Winter still going strong

No pictures this week-sorry. Actually blogger is working this morning, so I thought I'd take a few minutes and update you on what is happening here. This week has been cold. Its 10:30am now and its -22F. It was colder at the beginning of this past week- getting into the -30's. School was cancelled for two days so that the kids didn't have to go out in it. This cramped the boys up in the apartment and made them a handful.

Because of the cold and snow, I thought I'd change my header to one with less snow in hopes it will warm up the blog at the very least. Hope you like it. Its from the mountains here in town and its looking out over the vast steppe.

I've been working on a tourism map/website this week. Some members of the staff are gathering info for a complete re-vamping of the website. Its a much needed overhaul and I have the idea of gearing it towards tourism. Right now, it is visually bad and reads like a government website would stereotypically read. I don't do web design, but I'm putting together some stuff for the company that does- so hopefully it will turn out good.

I found a company in the states that said they will make an interactive version of the park tourism map...for free- so that is why I'm working on the map. I think it will turn out good.

Outside of that, the biggest news is Gambrill's purchase of a 4 inch thick piece of foam for her bed. I put it on mine and it nearly changed my life- I will go buy one for myself today. My bed isn't the most comfortable. Alishair loved the foam and enjoyed being wrapped up like a taco.

That is it from here. Extreme cold and tourism maps. I'll show the map when I'm done. Until then...
