"Glory, Glory, Glory to the Soviet Armed Forces!" (1977)

Before the Soviet Union fell, February 23 was "Soviet Army Day."  It commemorated the army of the Soviet Union.  And because the army was mostly men, it commemorated that too.  After it fell, the name was changed to "Defender of the Fatherland Day."  But because its counterpart is International Women's Day (March 8), many former Soviet republics now refer to the holiday as "World Man Day."

This holiday gives woman a chance to shower their men with praise and adoration...not to mention gifts!  So Happy Man Day from Kazakhstan!!!!
